Facebook - Nearly 400,000 people have expressed interest in a plan to ‘storm’ area 51 in search of aliens.
The Facebook page calling everyone to action is called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.”
The details on the page read; “We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.”
(A Naruto run is in reference to a Japanese manga character known for running with his arms stretched out backward and his head forward. Click here to see a video.)
The big event is set to convene on Sept. 20, 2019 at the Area 51 Alien Center, in Amargosa Valley, Nevada.
The highly classified Air Force facility in the Nevada desert is located about 90 miles Northwest of Las Vegas.
More than 20,000 comments have been posted thus far, with many people speculating about what might be inside the facility which is rumored to be the government's hiding place for secrets about aliens and UFOs.
This is a good time to reiterate that not everything you see on the internet is real, one of the event’s organizers included a disclaimer at the bottom of a page detailing the ‘game plan.’
Jackson Barnes post reads, "Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan.I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet. I'm not responsible if people decide to actually storm area 51.”
