Expert: Employers must cut down on ‘sports chat’ at work as it ‘excludes’ women

What is your topic of choice to discuss at work?

Experts from the Chartered Management Institute in the U.K. say that bosses should try to stop male staff from discussing sports as it makes women feel "left out" at work.

Anne Francke, head of the organization, says, "A lot of women, in particular, feel left out. They don't follow those sports and they don't like either being focused on talk about them or not being included."

She also argues that it's easy for sports talk to escalate into men talking about their sexual conquests and slapping each other on the back, which she says can lead to more of a frat house feeling at work.

Many on social media expressed that they disagreement with this.
