Couple says ‘ in front of a church full of cardboard guests

Dowagiac, Michigan — The couple from Michigan went ahead with their wedding plans Saturday, despite the corona virus pandemic.

Dan Stuglik and Amy Simonson said most of thier 160 guests declined to attend, but still,  the pews were full - of cardboard cutouts!

WSBT-TV shared the story on their website.

Not wanting his bride to walk alone down the isle, the groom enlisted the help of a local packing company to provide a few human-shaped cardboard cut-outs.

The Menasha Packing company did so free of charge and filled the church with a stout audience.

While the couple managed to pull off the wedding and a quiet reception at home with out a hitch, they say they will wait until it’s safer to go on their honeymoon.
