Only on Orlando’s Morning News with Joe Kelley

You don’t usually have to look too far to find fun things to do around Central Florida, and we’ve got you covered by selecting the best of the best each week.

Laurel Lee talked through our top weekend picks early Friday morning on Orlando’s Morning News with Joe Kelley.

The icFlorida Fun 3:

Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras celebration will keep the good times rolling this weekend with live performances by Kelsea Ballerini on Saturday, February 17, and Andy Grammer on Sunday, February 18.

140th Silver Spurs Rodeo at the Osceola Heritage Park features all seven traditional rodeo events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie down roping, and barrel racing.

Saturday the 9th Annual Northwestern Mutual Orlando Chili Cook-off will be heating up Festival Park with over 100 chili booths to sample, a VIP zone, live music, interactive games, a kids zone, food trucks, and local vendors.

Plus:

"Disney presents a musical that brings the much-loved 1994 animated film to life to breath-taking effects, spirit and power, inviting you to explore the African Serengeti and join the wide eyed cub Simba on the adventure of a lifetime as he grows up and accepts his destiny as the King of the Pride Lands. In addition to the beloved songs penned by Sir Elton John and Tim Rice (such as the soaring 'Circle of Life') this phenomenal adaptation has new original songs and explodes with joyous, captivating music that soundtrack the rich mythology and moving drama expertly."
