Hunky, internet celebrity Cruise Director is coming to Central Florida

Port Canaveral, Fla. — Heads-up ladies!  There’s yet another reason to set sail out of Port Canaveral.

Carnival cruise director Matt Mitcham is leaving the U.K. and will set sail from the Port on what is dubbed as Carnivals 'Hottest" new ship Mardi Gras.

If he looks familiar, it might be because Mitcham is not only a celebrity on-board, he is also popular online.

He told People Magazine that he started an Instagram page as a way to keep in touch with the guests he met at work.

The videos of his travels and 6-pack shirtless selfies has attracted a lot of attention, Mitcham has almost 43,000 followers on Instagram and another 57,000 likes on Facebook.

Take a deep breath girls and mark your calendar, beginning in October 2020, Mitcham will set sail for seven-days at a time, on the Mardi Gras.

The newly remodeled ship features the world's first roller coaster at sea and  Shaquille O'Neal's Big Chicken restaurant.
