After getting under the skin of Donald Trump at this week's Republican debate, Jeb Bush and his political allies seem ready to keep jabbing at the leader in the GOP race for President, as an outside political group allied with the former Florida Governor has issued a new ad aimed at Trump.
"One candidate tough enough to take on the bully," the ad begins, showing what may have been Bush's best debate moment yet, when he seemed to annoy and aggravate Trump on the stage in Las Vegas.
"Donald, you're not going to be able to insult your way to the Presidency," Bush said.
Obviously, there is no guarantee this strategy will work, as Bush looks to try to climb back up in the Republican polls.
Bush himself went on social media and added his voice to the attack on Trump.
"I was the only one to stand up to Trump’s chaotic, irresponsible foreign policy at the debate," Bush said on Twitter, as his campaign released its own web video that jabbed at the real estate mogul.
That video includes part of a CNN interview that Bush cited during the debate, where Trump argues the U.S. should not intervene in the fight against the Islamic State.
"Let Syria and ISIS fight," Trump says in that interview. "Why do we care; let ISIS and Syria fight."
