Tropical Storm Jerry has weakened some and is not expected to strengthen.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said the storm's maximum sustained winds late Tuesday morning were 40 mph. Forecasters don't expect much change in strength.
Jerry is centered about 1,275 miles east of Bermuda and is stationary. The storm is expected to begin to move to the northeast across cooler waters and may dissipate in the next few days, forecasters said.
