Teens say bracelets from Taylor Swift concert saved their lives

Some teenage Taylor Swift fans are crediting her concert souvenirs for saving their lives after they were involved in a crash.

Elizabeth Dazzio tells WBRZ that she was driving her sister Caroline and another friend home from a Taylor Swift concert on her '1989' world tour when she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed. Dazzio was knocked unconscious and the two others girls became trapped in the mangled wreckage.

"You could smell the gas and smoke," Caroline said. "I was just thinking we need to get out of this car."

The girls cellphones were dead except one but they couldn't find it. Cars kept passing them by until they realized they still had their light-up concert bracelets on that synchronized to Taylor Swift's music. They used the lights as makeshift emergency flare and eventually caught the attention of a woman driving by who stopped to help.

The woman helped pull the girls from the car and Dazzio was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The story got the attention of Taylor Swift herself who tweeted out a message saying that she was glad the girls were ok.
