Orange County man arrested after helicopter trails wild ATV ride

It started when a group of ATV riders on South Orange Blossom Trail near Taft Vineland road were spotted slowing down traffic.

There was one ATV in particular that broke from the pack, crossing the double yellow line and drove on sidewalks,  endangering the lives of innocent people. The incident happened back on April 10, 2016 around 4:30 p.m.

The police chase helicopter began following with the aid of deputies on the ground and a 911 operator.

After recklessly driving several miles through several neighborhoods, the man now identified as 29 year old Hector Gonzalez Lopez drove into the garage of home. Police were able to determine that Lopez was in the home and arrested him with out incident.
