It's the newest case of unfortunate ad placement: McDonald's McRib billboards placed next to cancerous, rotting flesh depicted in an anti-smoking ad.
"Spotted a #McDonalds McRib advert next to a picture of a smoker's diseased insides that looks unfortunately similar!" one tweeter commented.
"Ever wondered what happens to the stuff from your insides when you smoke? It goes to make a McRib that's what! #mcrib" another writes.
The unfortunate juxtaposition surely can't help either campaign, and certainly adds a nausea-inducing link to McDonald's poor sandwich.
