A string of recent armed robberies at several Orange County businesses has some nearby residents on edge.
Detectives are working to determine if six armed robberies in less than two weeks could be connected. All of the robberies happened within a 5-mile stretch of the county.
The most recent robbery was Monday afternoon at a Sunoco gas station on Edgewater Drive near College Park. Investigators said it's the second time that the store has been robbed in the past ten days.

The robber, a white or Hispanic man with brown hair, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash, deputies said. The clerk wasn't injured.
"It makes you very uneasy. To know you could be walking into a store and be right smack in the middle of something like that," resident Aydil Migenes said.
The other recent robberies happened at different gas stations and a Dollar General store in the Lockhart area. In most of the cases, the suspect and getaway car descriptions are similar.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
