Imprisoned Cowboys fan sues NFL for nearly $89 billion

Extreme Cowboys fan Terry Hendrix, who happens to currently be incarcerated in a Colorado correctional facility, has filed a lawsuit against the NFL because of a call made during the Cowboys vs. Packers game.

Hendrix is seeking $88,987,654,321.88, inspired by Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's jersey number, in damages because of an overturned call.

The controversial replay reversal in question came about when Bryant made what was ruled a catch on a fourth down pass down the sideline.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy challenged the call and NFL officials rules the wide receiver didn't complete the process of the catch.

The fan believes the Cowboys could have won if it had been ruled a catch and that the team and fans were cheated.

In the handwritten law suit, the fan names NFL President of Officiating Dean Blandino, referee Gene Steratore and Commissioner Roger Goodell by name and says the video review and reversal was "a fraud" and "gross negligence."

The Fremont Correctional Facility inmate includes he appears as counsel for "Dez Bryant, all Dallas Cowboys fans and all people in or from the sovereign republic of Texas."

Hendrix has also filed an application to continue with the case without paying court fees.
