Governor Scott's budget proposal slashes over 1,000 jobs

Governor Rick Scott campaigns for the creation of jobs in Florida, yet his proposed 2015-16 state budget shows that over 1,000 jobs would be cut out of state government.

It shows that a whopping 758 jobs would be cut in the Health department, followed by 155 in Environmental Protection.

On the other hand, Corrections would gain 163 positions, with Justice gaining 114.
