Airline rolling out new 'Star Wars' plane

It's hard to have missed the frenzy that fans have been in since the release of the new Star Wars trailer for "The Force Awakens."

Jumping on the wave of excitement, Japan carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) has plans to roll out a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner painted like scrappy droid R2-D2.

The plane will be painted silver with familiar blue stripes and details, as well as a large blue "Star Wars" logo on the side of the jet.

The airline's "Star Wars Project" is slotted for the next five years and the included themed plane is scheduled to start flying international routes in the fall.

ANA has also launched a website to accompany the plane's roll out, that allows you to scroll through photos of the special Dreamliner while the ever-familiar Star Wars theme song plays in the background.

The new Star Wars movie, the first under the Disney franchise, will be in theatres on December 18th.
