ORLANDO, Fla. — The NCAA is returning events to North Carolina, after state leaders rolled back the so-called bathroom law, which limited protections for LGBT people.
The Men’s Basketball Tournament is also coming back to Florida after a successful run in Orlando this year.
Jacksonville announced it will host First and Second round games in 2019, while Tampa gets the honors in 2020.
If the tournament returns to Orlando, it will have to be after 2022, as the NCAA has lined up sites through that season.
