Woman's body found dead after a swim in Lake Orienta

Seminole County, Fla. — Police in Altamonte Springs say a missing woman who went swimming in Lake Orienta early Monday morning disappeared in the water and have found her dead.

A police spokesperson said search teams went into the water looking for 25 year old Dokken Tyler Stefani Walker, who recently moved into the area two weeks ago.

They went on to say that a woman called 911 earlier in the day, saying that she and Walker both went for a swim. However, Walker reportedly never made it back to the dock.

Upon discovery of a body found in the lake, investigators believe it is the body of Dokken Walker, but they are still waiting to hear from the medical examiner's office to positively identify the body.

Authorities also say that the medical examiner will determine if any drugs, substances, or potential wildlife could have played a role in the woman's death.
