LAKE COUNTY, FL — State Road 46 in Sorrento is back open according to Lake County Fire Rescue.
Fire officials had closed SR 46 between County road 437 and Niles Road because of a brush fire in the area.
Fire crews said the brush fire burned 18 acres and is now 100 percent contained.
Crews saved a dozen homes that were in danger, but one greenhouse was destroyed Lake County Fire Rescue said.
Lake County school buses have also been cleared to drop students off after being held at their respective schools.
