Seminole County Deputies arrest teen for a stabbing at a house party in Longwood

Seminole County, Fla. — The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Noah Hiebert of Longwood for attempted murder and tampering with evidence for a stabbing incident that occurred at his home early this morning.

At approximately 1:56 am, deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence located at 305 Pickering Court in unincorporated Longwood.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with multiple witnesses, and the male victim, 21 year old Tristan Buttrum, who was laying in a large pool on blood in the driveway. Tristan was bleeding heavily from his upper thighs and lower abdomen region. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

According to witnesses, Hiebert was having a party at his home and the victim showed up uninvited. An altercation ensued and the two became temporarily separated, but the altercation escalated outside the home. Hiebert then stabbed the victim several times with a pocket knife. No one observed Tristan getting stabbed, but multiple witnesses stated hearing Noah say “ I just stabbed this kid” or “I’m gonna catch a murder charge.”

Hiebert threw the knife down a sewer drain and left the area on foot. As investigators were interviewing witnesses, Hiebert returned to the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

Hiebert was arrested and charged with attempted homicide and tampering with evidence. He was booked into the John E Polk Correctional Facility on a no bond status. Hiebert is currently on felony probation for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and battery. He was additionally charged with violation of probation.
