WATCH: Postal worker delivers mail to homes destroyed by California wildfires

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — No wildfires are going to keep this postal worker  in Santa Rosa, California from getting the mail delivered on time.

Douglas Thron is an aerial videographer and captured drone footage of a U.S. Postal Service worker delivering mail in the almost completely burned down neighborhood of Coffey Park after the massive northern California wildfires.

The mail carrier is seen stopping at homes, most of them completely destroyed, and leaving mail in the still-standing mailboxes.

"It was a trippy thing," Thron told Mercury News. "I was shocked to see him because most of the roads were blocked off, but he obviously had access."

The video was taken October 10, just days after the fires began tearing across California’s wine country. So far, 31 people are dead and almost 500 people are still missing.
