Orlando police investigating overnight convenience store robbery

Orlando police are looking for a man who stormed a convenience store at gunpoint overnight and robbed an employee.

The 7-11 is located on Orange Blossom Trail north of All American Boulevard.

Investigators say the man, described as a black male, in his 20’s, about 5’7” with a medium build and goatee, pointed a semi automatic handgun at the clerk and ordered them to empty the cash register.

The suspect placed a duffel bag on the counter and told the employee to clean out the drawer.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one inside the store was injured.
