onePULSE foundation created to fund permanent memorial, scholarships, museum

Pulse owner Barbara Poma announced her plans to establish a permanent memorial at the site of the nightclub Thursday morning.

The onePULSE foundation will take donations to support an educational program, community grants to help survivors, and eventually a memorial and museum at the site of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

“I now know that my role is to insure that Pulse become a place of healing,” Poma explained “It is a time for Pulse to contribute to the community in a permanent way. A healing way.”

The Onepulsefoundation.org website is now live to support the memorial effort.
