Fire engulfs building at Tymber Skan condos

ORLANDO, FLORIDA — A fire engulfed a building early Thursday at Tymber Skan on the Lake Condominiums, Orange County Fire Rescue said.

The blaze was reported shortly before 5:45 a.m. at Green Pocket and Windcross lanes, firefighters said.

Investigators said they believe someone torched the building, which was vacant.

Flames quickly swept through the building because its drywall was removed, which was likely done to prepare for demolition, firefighters said.

Multiple buildings at the troubled complex have burned down since 2012, officials said.

Firefighters will remain at the scene for several hours to ensure the fire doesn't rekindle.
