Tampa, Fla. — Drivers in Tampa this morning had an extra challenge - navigating around an angry alligator that had strolled onto Veterans Expressway in Hillsborough County.
The gator was in the southbound lanes and was blocked against a center barrier wall.
Early reports indicated that the alligator was snapping at cars as they drove by.
Florida Highway Patrol documented the eventual capture of the wayward gator.
