Claim: Mythical Chupacabra captured in Philippines

Could El Chupacabra be real?

Probably not.

But a video leaked to the web purported to be from the Philippines claims there might be.

In some parts of Latin America, they are believed to attack animals especially goats which gave them the alternate name "goat sucker". "Chupacabra" originated with the discovery of some dead goats in Puerto Rico with puncture wounds in their necks and their blood allegedly drained. It is purportedly a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail. According to biologists and wildlife management officials, the chupacabra is an urban legend. (BuzzDriver)
